yesterday we rowed in our first regatta (head of the North Saskatchewan) and finished with a time of 22:43 (i really don't know how many kms the race course was...lets say between 3km-6km...) Of course we had the most miserable weather all week, although i only really felt painfully cold after we finished. After I went with a couple of the crew (i love how i can say that without sounding all white-gangster lol) to Denny's (rewrtie bad memories with new, good ones, right?) and I ate sooo much...i didn't eat anything the rest of the day since I was so full. Later, after I met up with richie (who was in town for a bit again *yay*) we went to a few places on whtye as a post-regatta celebration.
...while we were out tho i went through this weird 'music-culture shock' It was the first time in a while I was in a place where people were dancing to non-electronic music. I know it sounds strange, but maybe think of a hard rock lover who always goes to rock concerts and goes crazy in the mosh pit and then take that same person and stick him into the front row of the symphony or orchestra.
i also remembered how i don't like to get drink...honestly, getting drunk and staying drunk is too much effort.
i don't really like squires either...too highschool-esque
