so another whirlwind weekend has just flown by.
I WENT SNOWBOARDING FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON SATURDAY!!
alright so i'm a little excited about it.
but seriously...
I never wanted to try it before because
1) you have to be in the cold and snow
2) strapping both feet to a plank and hurling yourself down a steep hill never sounded particularly smart to me
3) i dislike skiing and didn't see how snowboarding is so different.
Despite these reasons Lee talked me into going and it actually was lots of fun!! After being so disgustingly inactive (since school started) it really was exciting to learn something different and get some exercise (even if it was cold and snowy)
I also had a chance to have a good talk with Carmella on Saturday night. She kicked my butt with a good reality check and told me that the most important thing is for me to be healthy. Sitting in my room and being depressed is definitely not healthy.
Today I went to a lovely family dinner ^o^ too bad i don't understand french. I always get so nervous about the silliest things (this, the hippy party, snowboarding...)
My confused state has evaporated from massive, dense thunderclouds into a milky fog. Nothing is going to blow up in my face because inevitably life will go on. (now why can't i use that mindset for exams too?? it never works)
