listening to some very interesting experimental tek house from music v2... sorta sounds electro-ish but has some more vocals and is a little easier for me to listen to.

So Richie has been gone to Rainbow lake since Monday. I'm really trying to stay strong and positive (no more CATASTROPHE-ing)...he won't be back for another 2 weeks and a bit tho. I don't miss him as much as i thought i might (not yet anyways).

Today I have an appointment to have my make-up done...it's sorta random because we bought this pop cherub set from lancome and the lady offered a time for me to see how to use it. It should be neat tho because this famous make-up artist from Vancouver is coming to lead their team. I might end up going out tonight anyways so it won't be for nothing.

I finally got in touch with Shandra yesterday. She apparently had a very busy week, poor thing. I guess I just get so excited about making new friends because i'm such a nerd most of the (well maybe all ) time. I meant to write a whole little blurb about meeting shandra last weekend, but i've been having a hard time finding the words...perhaps later they'll come to me. Plus i chatted all about it with jaxx (i must remember to call her this weekend!!) so i got a chance to release a pressure valve on my enthusiasm.

Well i suppose i must set about arranging my day *phew

BEWARE THE HUMMUS

wow and reading week is over...
I spent almost the whole time with richie. He took a layoff last monday and then found out that he is going to rainbow lake for 24 days (yes i was uber clingy) I was so happy to be able to spend that time with him, we talked a lot and cried a lot and (mostly) felt better a lot.

I must say though that I am still amazed at how much i can sleep when i have time off school. Although, during the break i sort of accepted the fact that school gradually depletes all your energy reserves and that if i feel like i want to sleep, there is absolutely no reason why i shouldn't. I figure that after finals i'll be able to sleep for a week straight.

So besides numerous naps and late mornings, Richie and I went to a houseparty, had an adventure day, walked all around his area, spent time with my family, and went to boozapalooza.

(sheesh, i must be really chatty today if i want to talk about all those things, lol)

On the eve of reading week (the friday) I had richie in clinic. It didn't go too bad...although he really didn't like me much after probing. That night we went to melissa&mark's houseparty btu i was so super tired from clinic and my midterms that i actually fell asleep a couple times. I did meet a really interesting person tho - Shandra. In the end she asked for my number which i found a little confusing (although it may of been from the exhaustion).

Saturday was a lazy chill day and we spent the night at my house. On sunday we had an adventure day and went to random silly places. At one point we journeyed over to Toys-R-Us...there are some seriously ugly/scary parents in Edmonton *shudder* We ended up helping out for the glitch mob show and scored some free tickets. The sound was amazing b/c it was done by pK crew (who do some stages at shambles) but the music was a little unpredictable and hard to dance too.

In the next couple days i finished up most of my OHE presentation and Richie and I discovered a couple cool places around his house like Jack's Bean Stop and a wholesale produce market. We also had Jackie and Justin over for supper--> mango&snowpea Thai salad, asparagus risotto and seared shrimp. *yumms*

...i suppose i should go eat and get ready for this afternoon's clinic now...the rain of details about the rest of reading week shall come later.
